The Bliss Baptist Church has been an integral part of the the Hamlet of Bliss since 1881. While it has undergone several changes over the years, it remains a welcoming center of worship in the region.

After the fire of 1919, the Bliss Baptist Church was able to construct a new building on the original site. The dedication of the new building was held on November 9, 1924
